The 42nd xenia exhibition held in Athens was attended by a large number of exhibitors, counting also scores of visitors. In a year that was specifically difficult for the tourism industry, the 42nd xenia exhibition spread a message of optimism to the hospitality, gastronomy, and entertainment business communities, presenting new ideas which may upgrade the Greek touristic product.

The 42nd xenia exhibition was inaugurated by the State Secretary for Tourism, Mr. George Nikitiades, who praised the contribution of the xenia exhibitions in highlighting the country’s tourism industry over the years.

The 42nd xenia exhibition was accompanied by wide range of parallel events that paved the way for synergies between business people as well as for new initiatives on behalf of institutions.
