Hosting the 2012 Northeast Bioengineering Conference (NEBEC) at Temple University in Philadelphia. We are looking forward to the biggest turnout in the conference's history with a focus on a program that will appeal to faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates alike. The conference will coincide with the founding of Temple University's new Department of Bioengineering, which will make March 2012 an exciting time to visit Temple.

The theme of this year's conference will be Translational Research. We are planning a number of events to underscore this theme, including a panel discussion of entrepreneurs and patent specialists on Friday evening. Undergraduate students entering the senior design competition are especially encouraged to highlight entrepreneurial aspects of their work.
