The 2.000 guests had the choice between excellent wines, ranging from some of the award-winners of the current vintage to barrel-aged high quality wines. Besides the possibility to taste domestic and international wines for free, a range of various culinary delicacies from Italy, Germany and Austria was being offered to the visitors.
Tips on how to store wine correctly were provided by construction companies specialized on wine cellars.

A significant proportion of the visitors have also attended the Innsbruck Wine Fair for many years in order to taste the attractive gourmet samples offered there. Many wines offered at the fair are not available in average retail shops. Wine connoisseurs have the possibility to directly order wine for their personal consumption at the vineries present on the fair. A number of vintners were also content to report that they have met customers from gastronomy and retail, who wanted to complete their assortment here.

During the fair 83% of the interviewed exhibitors already assured their prospective participation at the Insbruck Wine Fair in 2012.

99 % of the interviewed visitors plan on attending the fair again in 2012.
