The Surgical Forum program allows scientific investigators in-training an opportunity to present their work before a national audience for the first time.
Scientific Paper Sessions
The goal of the Scientific Paperprogram is to provide timely and innovative information and findings on scientific research, surgical procedures, practices, and approaches to practicing surgeons, residents, and medical students.
Scientific Exhibits
Scientific Exhibitsare poster presentations of timely, innovative information and findings on original scientific research, case studies, surgical procedures, practices, and approaches to practicing surgeons, residents and medical students. Top abstracts will receive the Poster of Exceptional Merit distinction.
Meet the Expert Luncheons
The very successful and in demand Meet the Expert Luncheons will again be offered at the 2011 Clinical Congress. Timely topics and challenging surgical cases will be discussed in an informal manner over lunch, facilitated by an “expert” on the subject matter. Attendee participation is not only encouraged, but expected.
Town Hall Meetings
Town Hall Meetings provide a venue for discussion of topics that are relevant to the ACS membership and the sponsoring committees of the Clinical Congress.. The informal atmosphere (no presentations are made) is intended to foster the free exchange of ideas among presenters and attendees.
