March 2 - 4, 2012
18th International Exhibition & Conference on Diagnostics, Medical Equipment & Technology.
Healthcare in India is in a state of enormous transition: increased income for the middle classes, health consciousness among the majority of the classes, price liberalizations, reduction in bureaucracy, and the introduction of private healthcare financing. Domestic healthcare spending is predicted to rise by double digits annually.

The medical equipment market has naturally followed suit. While the domestic market has been keeping up with demand in particular for low-technology medical equipment and devices, the demand for hi-tech products is close to 80% of the overall medical market in India, which can only be met by imports.
