BIOTECH - International Event and Conference on Biotechnologies 2011

Preparation for BIOTECH 2011, the international fair and conference on biotechnologies, that will take place from 5 to 7 October 2011 at fieramilanocity, is in full swing.

Now at its third edition, BIOTECH 2011 will take place once again during LIFE-MED, the innovative fair concept dedicated to life sciences, which, in 2010, was visited by 3,560 people from 39 countries, and had 200 exhibitors from 21 countries, 31 conference sessions, and over 170 qualified speakers.

For the third year running, BIOTECH will offer the exclusive online Partnering service, a powerful and efficient tool for the organization of one-to-one meetings, thanks to which participants will be able to identify new business opportunities and optimize their presence at the fair. The 2011 edition will also include, once again, the Start-Up Challenge, a competition dedicated to companies with less than three years of activity, which will have the possibility of presenting their projects to a jury of qualified operators and financial analysts.

An important innovation for the 2011 edition is the event dedicated to Charities: associations, foundations and no-profit organizations that are occupied with fundraising for scientific research, and which, thanks to their important activities, have, in these last few years, reached important results regarding the cure for many illnesses. In fact, the 1st CHARITIES DAY, with conferences, meetings and debates, will take place on 5 October. During BIOTECH, there will also be a special exhibition area dedicated to these important organizations, which will receive Euro 1 in donation for each fair ticket sold.
