In 2011, the Brno Building Fairs and the MOBITEX International Fair of Living are again to be held in the spring from 12 to 16 April 2011. This model for a comprehensive group of trade fairs, covering all branches of the building industry, technical facilities in buildings and interior furnishings, was premiered in 2010. The sixteenth Brno Building Fairs are to focus on globally attractive topics, in particular energy efficient construction, energy savings, alternative sources of energy and heating equipment. All these topics are to be developed under the collective joint title Energy for the Future. Energy savings impact not merely technical facilities in buildings, but also masonry materials, windows, doors, insulation materials, construction systems and other building materials and products for the building industry. These topics proved interesting to 83 % of visitors at the Brno Building Fairs 2010.
