From 4 to 12 June 2011, the CNEMA - National Exhibition Centre and Agricultural Markets, SA held the 48th National Agricultural Fair, 58th Ribatejo Fair.

Promotion of agriculture and the rural world, the National Agricultural Fair / Ribatejo Fair is recognized as the largest fair of the national reference in the agricultural and agro-industrial, motive for the preference of companies and representative offices of foreign countries such as Spain, France and Italy for about 167 000 visitors and 600 exhibitors who hosted in 2010.

In this issue, and considering that in 2011 marks the International Year of Forests, the focus is on this theme as a way of raising public awareness of the fair for the importance of forest preservation and the role it plays in sustainable development.
