The 5th “Ecotec” sets the objectives

Despite the financial crisis that currently prevails, the green development and implementation of related environmental technologies, the energy production and the shift to eco-sensitive behavior such as recycling, have become of high importance to the state as well as Greek citizens.

With this notion as the baseline, “T Expo” starts the necessary procedures for the organization of the 5th international exhibition “Ecotec – Environmental technologies & Photovoltaic systems” which will take place from March 15th till the 18th 2012 in the exhibition center “Expo Athens” at Anthousa Attica.

The exhibition has been established as the leading and most important trade fair of its kind in the wider area of the Balkans after the success of the last four organizations and is the only one that defies against the crisis with simultaneous increase in participations, attendance, themes etc.

The main message to be conveyed in this year’s organization, through the international conference “Ecoforum” which accompanies the exhibition every time, will be the incentive to undertake a great national effort so that Greece is established as a leader in clear energy production and export as soon as possible in order to enhance its competitive edge and sustainability and as a result release itself from its creditors.

Moreover, Ecotec exhibition emphasizes on eco technologies in which the local administration is interested such as water, litter and sewage treatment as well as recycling, particularly after the “Kallikratis” implementation. 

“Ecotec – Environmental technologies & Photovoltaic systems” is organized every year by “T Expo”, under the auspice of the Hellenic Ministry of Environment Energy & Climate Change and is supported by almost all the sector’s associations.
