Beyond the Genome 2011

Genome Biology, in conjunction with Genome Medicine, is pleased to host the second annual Beyond the Genome conference at The Universities at Shady Grove, Rockville, in the Washington DC Metro area from 19 - 22 September 2011. This year there is a Genome Informatics Workshop on 19 September, before the 3 day conference focuses on cancer genomics, the human microbiome and exome and genomic sequencing and how these approaches are being used to identify common and rare disease-causing mutations. Technological as well as medical or biological perspectives will be discussed.

All participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. A significant number of talks will be selected from submitted abstracts. Deadline for submission of abstracts is 15 July 2011.
