Around the Area, Inc. was formed in 2003 by four Sussex County friends and business associates that recognized the need for a centralized means of storing and making available to the public the resources and activities within the County region. The company's mission is to promote these resources via a sophisticated yet easy-to-use web site application known as AroundtheArea.com.

The company's partners have an extensive background in business and web site development. The CEO, Lynn Lancaster, is a founding partner and Creative Director of Advanced Software Development Corporation (DBA AdvancedGroup.net) and has created numerous web sites for companies in the areas of banking, insurance, automobile, telecommunications, non-profit, health and wellness, and education. She is a member of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners, the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, Branchville Rotary, the Sussex County Vision 2020 Committee and the Advisory Board of a local Sussex County bank.

We make a concerted effort to provide PlanIt Expo Brides with the finest quality/dollar value selection of upscale, reputable bridal product and service professionals available.

We are committed to the goal of becoming America's premier bridal show company and bridal merchant clearinghouse through a program of expanded licensing, and a continuing focus on integrating all facets of bridal customer lead generation for participating merchants.

We believe that top-notch professional exhibitor presentations help ensure success for both our participating merchants and our PlanIt Expo Brides. To underscore this point, we pledge to assist exhibitors with ongoing advertising and promotion opportunities, and with a professional website and bridal show presentation training seminars, videos and CDs.
