The STS Coding Workshop — the premier coding event in cardiothoracic surgery — provides CT surgical coders, surgeons, and other billing professionals with the most up-to-date information on coding and reimbursement issues affecting cardiothoracic surgery practices in 2012 and beyond.
The Workshop offers coding information in focused blocks that will cover adult cardiac, general thoracic, congenital, endovascular, and vascular surgery coding topics. Each subspecialty block will address new codes and policy changes, as well as provide tips on overcoming common coding challenges. Each subspecialty block will also include a combination of actual coding scenarios, practice exercises, and an extensive question-and-answer session. For maximum learning potential, an audience-response system will be used. Ample time is provided for faculty and participant interaction.
