Bypass, Balloon Pumps and Circulatory Support 2012

This highly interactive and intensive event is ideally structured to allow all participants to gain hands-on experience with the devices mentioned above. Setting-up and running a cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) circuit, as well as insertion and maintenance of the intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) will be the key components of this course for each participant. A very high ratio of faculty to participants will ensure a thorough understanding and familiarity with all topics covered.
