July 12 - 14, 2010    NO CITY SC , USA
Topics for the 2010 Pediatric Update, selected by participants in last year’s course and by review of recent advances in pediatric literature, include adolescent medicine, pediatric urology, pediatric neurology, developmental pediatrics and mind/body medicine. Special features will include concurrent breakout sessions and breakfast roundtables – small-group discussions of problem cases, with each discussion led by one of our faculty. The course and completion of the pre-test and post-test, will provide 15.5 hours of CME credit.

The speakers are internationally recognized as excellent teachers. This year we are introducing our new department chair, Dr. Bernard Maria, an internationally known expert in pediatric neurology and neurooncology. He is the editor of Menkes Textbook of Child Neurology. Each talk will include questions and answers.

This year is the centennial of the Wilhenford Hospital for Children, the first children’s hospital in the South, founded in Augusta in 1910 and originally located just a chip shot away from our current MCG Children’s Medical Center.
