East African Power Industry Convention 2010

EAPIC 2010 provides practical insight into expanding the energy mix for East Africa, considering the role that renewable energy, geothermal and traditional generation sources can play in securing power supply for the region. Discussions focus on fast tracking regional interconnections, the vital role of regional power pools in ensuring stable, quality electricity to all consumers – industrial, commercial and domestic. The co-located Africa Geothermal Power Summit allows regional stakeholders to discuss and further develop the future of East Africa’s geothermal future.

The pre-conference workshop will provide practical application to the principles of infrastructure finance, providing guidance into developing and securing finance for power projects.
