strong>Engaging Adolescents is a one-day practitioner training course for professionals to teach parents to manage difficult behaviour in teenagers. This course is suitable for parenting professionals who work with teenagers and their families.

This one-day course equips professionals with:
-The knowledge to teach parents the programme over three sessions and/or how to teach the tenets of the program in a few one-to-one clinical sessions

-A comprehensive training manual and a CD slideshow to aid your presentation

-Session-by-session guidelines for parent meetings

The structure of this course provides parents with a model for working out what behaviour needs to be ignored, how to coach teenagers to consider the consequences of their actions and how to hold difficult conversations when expectations are breached. A practical 'how-to' guide for parents.

Engaging Adolescents has been endorsed by the APS for 7 specialist or generalist PD points.
