Airway Management is a critical skill in Anesthesia. This course is designed to provide participants with state-of-the-art information and hands-on experience to ensure effective and appropriate management of difficult and failed airways.
Target audience: The Difficult Airway Course: Anesthesia is intended for healthcare providers including, Anesthesiologists, Nurse Anesthetists and Anesthesiologist Assistants.
Course objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will be able to:
1. Anticipate and manage the difficult airway;
2. Indentify and manage the failed airway;
3. Understand the special case of the failed airway in obstetrics and pediatrics; and
4. Perform an awake intubation in the predicted difficult airway. Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the essential areas and policies of the
