April 13 - 14, 2011    london , United Kingdom
In Europe, wind energy is fast becoming the key factor in achieving the continent's green electricity generation goals of 20% by 2020. Despite several factors creating challenges in terms of offshore wind turbine installation, it has still proven itself to be the course to set out on. Insights into the latest trends in strategy and the economics of offshore wind energy developments are awaiting intrigued delegates at this London conference.

Offshore wind projects are at a stage of mass development in Europe and North America. Europe is already operating 1.5 GW of offshore wind projects with a further 100GW in planning and development stages. The key challenges now are to create a policy framework that supports the development of offshore wind and to develop a successful approach for the operation of a transnational grid. This way, international electricity trading would become a reality and could well contribute towards our low carbon future.

This 2 days long conference will present views on the various wind energy elements as well as how to incorporate the supply chain, grid connection, wind turbine technologies, cost efficiency, project finance and risk assessment. The speakers and organizers will welcome all delegates ready to understand and discuss this exciting subject, so don't let anyone take the wind out of your sails, and be present!
