The Poultry Section at the Kent County Show this year promises to be an exciting event as for the first time since 1992 there will be a Poultry and Egg Show as well as an exhibition.The Kent Poultry Club in conjunction with KCAS are pleased to be staging the re-introduction of this section of the Show.

An exhibition will be held over the three days and will include many popular breeds of poultry, ducks, both large and bantam. A display of quail, chicks, ducklings, eggs, hatching eggs and a farmyard display of nostalgia and bygones is also included.

The Poultry Show will take place on Saturday 16 July and follows the same format as the Kent Poultry Club spring and autumn shows where exhibits compete in the different sections to vie for the top awards on Championship Row.

On Sunday 17 July there will be an Open Egg Show to include entries of farmers market, farm gate, farm shop and packhouse eggs to appeal to a much wider range of exhibitors at the Show.

Kent Poultry Club will be on hand to offer advice and answer any poultry related questions and look forward to welcoming you to the Poultry Marquee.
