The British Journal of School Nursing (BJSN) and the School and Public Health Nursing Association (SAPHNA) are very pleased to announce their 5th national conference: School and Public Health Nursing – Don’t forget school-aged children!

This exciting one day event will bring together leading experts to debate and discuss the current topics that are of fundamental importance to school and public health nurses as well as practitioners working across all aspects of children and young peoples’ nursing. The purpose and aims of this conference are:

• To provide school and public health nurses and their partners with an update of current developments relating to school and public health nursing
• To provide an opportunity to hear from the Department of Health on their vision for school and public health nursing services
• To understand how to influence the commissioning of services for school-aged children
• To consider current policy, research and guidance and how to utilise it within everyday practice
• To stimulate discussion about the way forward for school nursing and integrated services
