The Financial Times is pleased to invite submissions from law firms in Europe for FT Innovative Lawyers 2011.

Now in its sixth year, the FT Innovative Lawyers report is one of the top legal rankings in Europe, and the accompanying awards are widely regarded as the best researched in the market.

The report, which includes the groundbreaking FT Law 50, presents a unique analysis of the legal industry. It is the only analysis of the legal sector that ranks lawyers by innovation.

The theme of this year’s FT Innovative Lawyers is bold thinking. The research will investigate which innovative law firms and in-house teams are responding to the structural changes created by Europe’s low economic growth, and assess the big ideas at the forefront of the legal profession.

The report will be distributed in the FT to the newspaper’s 400,000 readers across Europe. The awards ceremony will be held in London to coincide with the publication of the report in October.

FT Innovative Lawyers is a joint venture with RSG Consulting, a specialist legal research company. The intensive research process includes expert commentators, market surveys and in-depth interviews with referees. Last year, RSG researchers conducted more than 500 interviews to reach the final ranking.

The FT Innovative Lawyers programme in the US and Europe is published in association with Integreon, the largest provider of integrated legal, research and business support for law firms and corporations.
