The world's only fermented food expo " Jeonju International Fermented Food Expo " has been held in the born place of Korean traditional foods, Jeollabukdo every October. IFFE holds fermentation exhibitions and supports B2B and B2C marketing, overseas exhibitions, academic conferences for broadening the global networking to promote fermentation culture and industry. We also provide various educational programs, fermented culture and food exhibitions as well as a wide range events for Korea Food Festival to establish the groundwork of fermentation food and the slow food trend which is now becoming more recognized.

It is held every October at Citizens’ Park of Jeonju World Cup Stadium, along with Fermentation Exhibits, B2B Trade Consultation, International Symposium, International Fermentation Town Solidarity Meeting, and Fermentation Experiment Programs.

It is designed to introduce the excellence of healthy macrobiotic food of fermentation, to contribute to spreading fermentation culture and vitalizing the industry based on integrated marketing and global network.

Purposes
