25th Symposium on Fusion Engineering

June 10-14, 2013
The Stanford Court Hotel
San Francisco, California

The Symposium on Fusion Engineering (SOFE) is a biennial event organized and sponsored by the Fusion Technology Committee (FTC) of the IEEE Nuclear & Plasma Sciences Society. The Symposium covers engineering and scientific advances in both inertial confinement and magnetic confinement fusion, with attendees from major fusion energy research centers worldwide. Plenary sessions typically report on the status of international programs and results from the major experimental facilities, while the technical sessions cover a wide range of fusion R&D topics (see list below). The conference is typically accompanied by commercial exhibits and short courses on fusion topical areas. The SOFE conference proceedings are considered to be an important source of technical information in this field.
