This full-day simulation workshop will provide each registrant with six clinical scenarios intended to improve individual skills as well as to impart an understanding of a team approach to crisis resource management. Each registrant will become part of a small team which will will rotate together through each of the six scenarios over the course of the day. The scenarios are intended to improve individual skills as well as the team’s reactions and responses. Effective post-simulation debriefings will integrate critical performance feedback, promote reflective practice, and augment future performance. The full-day of high fidelity simulation scenarios are taught by national and internationally recognized faculty of simulation experts and aims to provide participants with knowledge and skills to recognize and manage sedation-related emergencies.
