8th International Marble, Natural Stone Products & Technologies Fair held between 27th and 30th October, 2011 drew intense attention from the industry. Participants of the fair in the organization known as export fair doubled their work volumes via hot contact with buyer groups. EUROROC European& International Federation of Natural Stone Industries’ executives visited the fair with a total of 29.550 visitors; 4.264 of which are foreigners. Export target of the industry for the year 2023 was defined as 7 billion dollars by TİM (Turkish Exporters Assembly) at Natural Stone Fair with participation of 926 companies.

The industry with national and international companies came together in Turkey holding one third of global natural stone reserves. The organization focusing on its target of becoming the biggest and the most significant fair in the global arena, was held by CNR Holding, CNR Ekspo Trade Fairs, with sponsorship of T.R. Ministry of Economy, İMMİB (Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’ Association) and KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization). Growing by 40%, Natural Stone Fair was held in a space of 80 thousand square meters including block display field. The organization was remarkable with richness of buyer committees and the work volume.
