“ECU Forums” are designed to address a wide range of exciting ideas; identify the challenges in establishing a Corporate University and present innovative ways to bring executive education into a brand new era. To remain competitive during these challenging times, businesses need to have a workforce that is better trained and utilised than their competitors. They also need to ensure that the strategic leadership of their business is high quality, innovative, advanced and, most importantly, effective. At our events delegates are given the time and space to learn from others, reflect upon what works well and what mistakes can be avoided, discuss options for improving existing provision and explore the future of the Corporate University.

Many countries use high performing executives from the West to drive forward their economic development and growth.
Historically these positions are often filled by ex-PATs, however in these changing times regional development strategies are focused on different needs that involve developing greater local capability and nurturing talented nationals to take on these vital roles. In Turkey, at all levels and in all industries, this shift is being hampered by the lack of mentors available to support this plan.

This focus provide a challenging context and landscape in which to create Corporate Universities. The “ECU Forum” will attempt to explore this dichotomy further through presentations and panel discussions with industry experts. Join us in Istanbul on the 5th & 6th of November 2012 and be a part of this exciting “ECU Forum”.
