In 2013, the College’s Annual Scientific Meeting returns to Sydney after several years’ absence.
Sydney is Australia’s only international city – images of the Harbour, the Opera House, the
Bridge and the city’s glittering beaches are known worldwide.
The conference will be held in the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour,
on the western side of the CBD, only 10 minutes’ walk from the city.
Darling Harbour is a mix of exciting restaurants, hotels and shops. It adjoins Sydney’s
historic Chinatown, Thaitown and Korean quarters, as well as the southern CBD precinct
centred on George Street, with its melange of Asian restaurants and smart shops, all within
easy walking distance.
