P&I is the first in Korea to acquire the UFI(Union des Foires Internationales) certification. It was selected as the Promising Exhibition by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy for 11 consecutive years, and is one of the top three photo & imaging exhibition in Asia with the largest number of participating companies and visitors.

Photo & Imaging is one of Asia’s largest photography trade shows. It exhibits photo cameras,
P&I launched as “Korea International Optical Industry Show” in November 1989, and were reborn as the “Photo Show” after separating from the optical product category 2 years later. In 2000 it made a new leap forward as “PHOTO & IMAGING” following the rapcamera accessories, film and digital imaging media, studio equipment, and more. P&I was Asia’s first imaging related trade show, and the first Asian photo show to receive UFI certification. The show has developed alongside the photo imaging industry since its inception.
Since its opening in 1991 imaging week has become one of the most influential photography exhibitions in Asia. With its 22 years of history, Imaging Week takes a Show & Show format, including Photo & Travel, Photo & Optics, the Smart Accessory Show, New Media Wave, and Seoul Photo.
