Alzheimer Europe Conference 2013

This year, our conference is set under the motto "Living well in a dementia-friendly society". We will explore how our perceptions and image of dementia have an impact on the lives of people with dementia and their carers. We will showcase examples of good practice with regard to the involvement of people with dementia in activities and projects and the establishment of dementia friendly communities. The importance of ethical issues and a rights-based legal framework will also be addressed. By putting people first, we want to ensure that our conference will provide useful advice and develop recommendations on how to improve the quality of life of people with dementia.
