The 14th European Meeting on Complement in Human Disease from August 17-21, 2013, which will take place in Jena, a charming University City in the state of Thuringia, located right in the heart of Germany.
The European Complement Meeting is a biannual event that is being organized by active researchers in the field of complement and being held in different Cities and countries all over Europe. Therefore it is both our honor and pleasure to invite researchers in the field of complement to Jena, to attend this 14th European Complement Meeting and to allow an active exchange on the timely topics in the field of complement and beyond.
Jena is Germany's “City of Science” due to being the home of our renowned and internationally recognized Friedrich-Schiller-University. Therefore we are extending this unique spirit and are providing an environment that allows scientific discussions in combination with a vibrant university life of a historical German University City.
The success of a scientific meeting and conference depends on its participants, lively and challenging discussions and an active exchange. We will provide an ideal atmosphere to share ideas and concepts and moreover arrange an ambitious meeting program which covers hot topics and defines the challenges in the field of complement research and beyond. The venues of our 14th European Meeting on Complement are the “Volkshaus” and the “Auditorium” of the Friedrich-Schiller University, which are both located in historical buildings in the Jena City Center.
