Forum Odessa 2013

Recently, in connection with the development of corporate governance is actively growing and the role of corporate secretary. That depends on him coordinating the work of all government corporations or joint-stock company, the exchange of information between the management and the shareholders. Corporate Secretary - this is not a technical post, and versatile leader with his unit.

In Ukraine, corporate secretaries have appeared for a long time and their work is perhaps the most "international" of all the topics of corporate governance, as it is not regulated with the national legislation and the requirements for corporate secretaries are formed rather on the level of "best practice." After all, the higher the level of corporate secretary, the higher the level of corporate governance. No wonder the UK Corporate Secretary called the "hand of the throne", in terms of payment of this position there is usually ranked among the top 10 in the company.

The objectives of the Forum:

Create a common platform for discussion and demonstration of best Ukrainian and international practices of corporate secretaries
Discuss the improvement of corporate law
The introduction of standards and best practices of corporate governance in Ukraine

The Forum will be a ceremony of awarding the winners of "The Corporate Secretary in 2012," the nominees who will share their experiences, the Forum will present business cases and conduct master classes "Experience of the corporate secretary."
