ARA Annual Scientific Meeting 2014

The meeting will feature some common Victoria-Tasmania interest areas including Osteoarthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and models of care in rheumatology.

Dynamic and engaging international speakers will be featured, including Professor Dan Clauw (USA) speaking about fibromyalgia, pain and osteoarthritis and Professor Chris Ritchlin (USA) speaking about psoriatic arthritis. Paediatric and adult SLE as well as transitional care will be a strong focus with international speakers Professor Hermine Brunner (Canada) Paediatric SLE and Professor Shuang Ye (Shanghai, China) providing insights from a very large cohort of Asian SLE patients. Professor Lorimer Mosely, an outstanding Australian researcher and speaker from Adelaide will present his work on aberrant pain maps. The program will be supported by a range of our own excellent local researchers and speakers.
