The World Cities Summit is the exclusive and premier platform for government leaders and industry experts to address challenges of liveable and sustainable cities, share integrate urban solutions and forge new partnerships.
Under the theme of “Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Common Challenges, Shared Solutions”, the 4th edition of the biennial World Cities Summit will be held from 1 to 4 June 2014, in conjunction with the Singapore International Water Week and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands. The Summit in 2014 will continue to strengthen its role as an integrated platform addressing dynamic governance, master planning and leading urban solutions. In addition, the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum 2013 was hosted by Bilbao, Spain, the inaugural winner of the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize. This marks the first time ever that the Forum is held beyond the shores of Singapore to gain traction internationally and garnering external interest.
