BIT’s Annual International Congress of Geology and Geophysics 2014

Geophysics is a highly interdisciplinary subject and geophysicists contribute to every area of the Earth sciences. Recently, serious challenges such as natural hazards, risen energy demand, resource shortage, environmental degradation, population growth have directly threatened human survival. Geophysicists have to research and solve a series of tough and challenging issues to ensure the sustainable development of human society. In order to make better understand of how the Earth works, BIT’s 1st Annual International Congress of Geology and Geophysics (CGG-2014) aims to bring together experts from the industry, academia and government to discuss key Earth and space science issues and exchange opinions on Geophysical Field Theory and Applications, Earth Structure and Geodynamics, Computational Geophysics, Exploration Geophysics, Natural Hazards and Geophysics, Energy and Geophysics, Geophysics and Society.
