Intelligent systems must incorporate some ability to reason, perceive, proactive, learn or act intelligently in their environments; additionally, intelligent systems provide a way of managing complexity in real-world problems including the implementation of emotion. Techniques using artificial intelligence have been employed to develop robust and adaptable intelligent behaviors however research is recognized as being at an embryonic stage with levels of intelligence being generally restricted and limited. Realising these goals will call for and integrated approach using a range of technologies including modeling using Kansei engineering, Semiotics, Cognitive Conceptual Modeling. This session aims to bring together state-of-the-art works in intelligent informatics, information systems including the implementation of personalisation based on context-awareness, crisis intelligent and information systems. This special welcomes contributions to the theory, methodology and practice of developing and evaluating intelligent systems in a broad and diverse range of application domains. Interested authors are invited to submit research papers in (but not limited to) the following topics.

Special Session Topics:
• Intelligent context-aware systems and application including intelligent real-world applications and intelligent training systems, social intelligence, optimization and heuristics
• Hybrid Intelligent Systems in real world complex problems, involving imprecision, uncertainty, vagueness and high dimensionality
• Kansei engineering and Technologies for emotional and psychological well being, intelligent user interfaces including Semiotics, and Cognitive Conceptual Modeling.
• Dynamic and Adaptive Models in Computational Intelligence including Machine learning with evolutionary systems, and artificial neural networks
• Information systems and knowledge representation with discovery and automated reasoning including with intellige
