Australian Utility Week 2014

Australian Utility Week, which replaces Smart Utilities Australia & New Zealand, has been created following a six month programme of consultation with the market. Explaining the thinking behind the new brand, which officially goes live on 27th November 2013, Daria La Valle said: “I am firmly of the belief that the new brand, will deliver even more for our customers and the industry as we rise to the challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead. Australian Utility Week is the result of an intensive research and design programme which we have been very careful to sense check with our stakeholders.

Kristian Handberg, Principal Consultant, DiUS Computing illustrated the positive response to Australian Utility Week, stating: "As we progress through a period of unparalleled change, the launch of Australian Utility Week builds on past success with an event that will support the industry's future". Michael Hamilton, CEO, Brave Energy confirmed “Because so much is happening in the Australian Utility market, it’s important to take time to see, hear and talk about what we are all doing. Australian Utility Week is the perfect platform for us to do this.”

Addressing all show attendees Daria La Valle said: “We have created a special Australian Utility Week stand, to give exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to drop by, take a look at the Corporate Identity and discuss our plans for Australian Utility Week moving forward. I am extremely confident that at the end of this week we will be reflecting on another successful year, and, as importantly, looking ahead to the opening of an exciting new chapter for Australian Utility Week in 2014.”
