The 2014 Conference Program will include a nationwide account of successful and innovative hospital improvement and surgical redesign projects related to improving efficiency of surgical services; with an emphasis on improving patient access and flow, optimisation of theatre sessions, implementing electronic surgical reporting systems, improving the preadmission process and methods to balance elective and emergency surgery demand.
