The chairman has a critical influence on a board's style, composition, balance and performance. This one day course reviews the chairman's role in light of current legal requirements and good practice.

Course leader: Francis Bergin.

Francis has over 30 years' experience in business as a Chairman and director of a number of companies, councils, committees and tribunals. He has chaired conferences and given presentations all over the world. Francis qualified as an Accountant and Chartered Secretary with Unilever Plc. For several years, he was director of The School of Business Administration and a Visiting Lecturer at The European Business School.
