A 2 Day Course on Bunker Fuel Blending Technology & Economics 2015

This two-day course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview and discussion of Marine Bunker blending techniques, technology and cost/benefits. It addresses contemporary issues such as the latest ISO Marine Bunker specifications, including the impact of new lower MARPOL VI Sulfur limits, reductions in NOx and Particulate Matter (PM), the use of Bio-Diesel blending to lower all emissions, including GHGs, and alternative technologies such as scrubbers to comply with more stringent bunker emissions specifications. Case studies are used to illustrate the relative importance of each aspect of the fuels blending operation, together with specific exercises.
