APSAR (The Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar) is an international conference devoted to SAR and radar technology development and applications. With the dramatic increase of the number of operational SAR systems in recent years, there are now high demands to provide wide opportunities for the regional SAR and radar communities to share their technical expertise. The APSAR is a biennial forum of SAR and radar engineers and scientists from all over the world, especially from the Asia-Pacific region. The First and Second APSAR conferences have been held successfully in China in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Therefore, APSAR 2011 in Korea is the third and will be held in Seoul, Korea during September 26-30, 2011.
