ISLMA Conference 2012

Now is the time to register for the 2012 ISLMA Conference at Pheasant Run in St. Charles.
The theme of the conference is School Librarians @ the Core of Learning. Seminars and individual sessions will features tips and ideas about how the school librarian’s role enhances the achievement of the common core standards.
There are plenty of things to do, including the exhibits, the ISLMA store, special activities for ISLMA’s 25th Anniversary Conference, and networking with colleagues.
This year there is a full day of programming on Saturday featuring a keynote session with Joyce Valenza, author of the “never-ending”blog. You will want to come to the author breakfast on Saturday to meet the award winning authors and other authors who will be signing their books at the Author Showcase.
