The WHL is dedicated to hypertension prevention and control, and aims to promote the exchange of information among its 95 member organizations. The Chinese Hypertension League (CHL), a member of the WHL, has, since its establishment, championed the prevention and treatment of hypertension in China. The CHL has united large numbers of doctors, investigators and medical workers engaged in community prevention and treatment, and has made outstanding contributions to the prevention, treatment and research of hypertension in China.
