Pediatric Sedation Outside of the Operating Room Conference 2011

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 2011 Pediatric Sedation Outside of the Operating Room conference and optional two day simulation and airway workshops. This year we are presenting a unique, enriching, and exciting syllabus. As always, we have a diverse group of internationally and nationally recognized speakers from a variety of disciplines. We are grateful to all the speakers and to each and every attendee. We have attendees from multidisciplines (emergency medicine, dental medicine, hospital medicine, intensive care medicine, pediatrics, anesthesiology, nursing, oncology, cardiology, radiology, hospital administration). Last year 17 countries were represented (including Italy, the Netherlands, Israel, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Japan, Indonesia, and Singapore). The specialized tracks, round table luncheons, and open forums enable us to share our experiences, ideas, and challenges. The Planning Committee presents a syllabus which we hope will interest specialists from every discipline and setting. We have also organized the Program to allow time for questions and to encourage you to participate in a lively exchange of ideas.

Last year we offered one full day of sedation simulation and had overwhelming, sold-out, enrollment. In response to the attendee’s requests we have added a second full day of simulation as well as a basic and advanced difficult airway workshops. These simulation days are optional- you may enroll in one or both.
