FIE is a unique conference and anyone who has attended can attest to its special nature. FIE is inclusive, collegial, and welcoming. We celebrate new participants and welcome old friends. FIE is more than a place to present papers. It is a venue for interacting with colleagues. FIE provides opportunities to meet with other engineering educators, discuss ideas, reflect on the topics and issues from the sessions, and chart new directions and collaborations. We hope to see lots of new faces at FIE 2010, and also hope that those who have attended previous FIEs will join us for this one.
