The increased interest in beekeeping and development of the sector in Bulgaria, imposed in 2004 to launch a specialized bee exhibition Apiculture mania.
To place a statement with such issues in Dobrich, due to the fact that the Dobrudja produces 35% of Bulgarian honey . The region has more than 1000 beekeepers, bee farms which are officially registered.
The first edition of Apiculture mania is characterized by great interest from visitors. It received popularity in Bulgaria and outside its borders. Companies from Germany, Turkey and Romania expressed their desire to present the Bulgarian Apiculture mania.
The exhibition is accompanied by a concurrent program, which beekeepers discuss issues related to the industry, meet with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, funds and organizations.
