Optical fibre sensors will represent the core of the EWOFS2010 meeting. Within this main guideline, the event motivation is focused to report progresses in the areas of: sensing principles, transducers based on micro and nano technologies, interfacing subsystems, signal processing and sensor multiplexing, as well as applications and exploitation of this sensing technology.
