Property markets in many parts of Europe have seen a significant rebound from the fourth quarter of 2009, propelled by an easing in lending and renewed interest from institutional investors in property as a source of portoflio diversification. Money that was previously heading East has headed back West into the European property market.

But a number of clouds loom over this sunny horizon: The overall economic outlook in Europe remains uncertain, as evidenced in the property sector by continued vacancies and low rents. Is the current property market rebound sustainable in the face of impending financial market regulation and maturing commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS)?

The 2010 Financial Times Commercial Property Conference brings together some of the best minds in the property business to discuss the developments shaping tomorrow's market. The forum takes a global context, but focuses on the impact of global development on property markets in Europe and CEE countries.
