International Public Health Nursing Conference - IPHNC 2013

The theme of IPHNC 2013 ‘Making the Difference: The Public Health Nursing Contribution to Primary Health Care’ reflects the contribution and the difference that Public Health Nursing makes to the health of populations around the world. The conference will present evidence based research from several countries that will be of interest to policy makers, nationally and internationally, in the wake of health reforms plus addresses by Alex White TD, Minister of State for Primary Health Care in Ireland, Dr Michael Shannon, Nursing & Midwifery Unit, Health Service Executive Ireland and a panel of renowned international keynote and theme speakers.

The conference will host internationally renowned keynote speakers from Australia, the USA, Brazil, the UK, and Ireland. The opening address will be delivered by Alex White TD, Ireland’s Minister of State for Primary Care, and Dr Michael Shannon (Nursing and Midwifery Unit, HSE Ireland) will act as Guest Speaker. IPHNC 2013 is accredited by the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board.
