Hear from key homelessness organisations and State Government stakeholders on the major issues moving forward to help reduce homelessness in Australia.

The program will discuss:
the National Partnership Agreement and the impact on future funding, the complex interaction of domestic violence, family breakdown, mental illness, drug and alcohol abuse, transition from the justice system, lack of affordable housing and unemployment that result in homelessness, and how best to deliver services.
With 30 speakers representing all States, we look forward to sharing evaluation data, discussing models of care, and ultimately understanding more about organisations' work to alleviate homelessness.

In addition, the program features the following three panel sessions allowing for interactive and open debate: State Government Department Panel Discussion. The Complex Interplay Of Issues That Result In Homelessness And The Strategies And Funding Commitments To Combat This Moving Forward How Best To Integrate Homeless And Health Services To Provide Better Flow Policy Discussion Regarding The National Affordable Housing Agreement The conference is positioned as a meeting place for government representatives, NGO sectors, policy makers, social enterprise entrepreneurs, academics and front line staff looking to stimulate innovation, share strategies and improve outcomes for homeless people across Australia.
