Medina Entertainment Center, a Minnesota tradition, continues to grow and change, celebrating over 50 years in the entertainment industry. Medina Ballroom opened its doors on September 6, 1956. It was an exciting beginning to what continues to be the point of destination for thousands of guests yearly from Minnesota and surrounding states.

Medina’s 50-year ambition has been to provide the community with all styles of exceptional dance music, and the best in regional and national entertainment. Of course, the list of stars that have performed at Medina is a ‘Who’s Who” in America. Everyone from Guy Lombardo, Chubby Checker, and Johnny Cash to Pat Benatar and Alice Cooper graced Medina’s stage. Willie Nelson signed autographs until 2:00 a.m. Medina also decided to give a chance to a new artist named Garth Brooks. Would you believe we didn’t sell out?

The Grand Ballroom is renown for providing years of dancing comfort with a large 6,500 sq. ft. air cushioned maple dance floor. Dances are hosted on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday evenings, and every Friday and Saturday featuring Old Tyme, Big Band, 50′s, 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, Country, Rock, Cajun and Alternative.
